Our recess club ended with a "poetry cafe". We got to drink hot cocoa and read our creations and favorite poems. #ewpride

Lastly, we learned about trade between Native Americans and Europeans coming to settle. We know they didn't speak the same language so this was a peaceful, silent trade. #ewpride

From there we built different maps and learned about how Ohio and Cleveland got settled. #ewpride

Next up we learned about the Western expansion to Ohio and how land was divided up. Students were given an occupation, a number for their turn to choose land and had to choose land that helped them be able to meet the needs for their occupation #ewpride

Learning about early Ohio history today at Western Reserve Historical Society. #ewpride First up was acting as archeologists and investigating Native American tools and supplies

A double day of fun! We had Nadia's mom, Mrs. Yamokoski speak to us as our Visiting Professor. She has years of experience beginning with Opera at age 10 and runs her own theater!
Double fun is that today is Mrs. Williams ' birthday and we had a fun morning celebrating! #ewpride
