How do you ensure all of the children in your setting have a sense of belonging? Asking families to share the ways they celebrate special festivals and cultural events is a great way of ensuring everyone feels included. Thank you for sharing @nursery_hope #BeingMe
@LynnTaylorEdu@teamsquarepeg Is this relevant for Early Years? We are all square pegs - actually different shaped pegs trying to fit into an educational round hole.
We know that the majority of people support the NHS and don't want to see it privatised
Together we can fight to save the NHS from the Tories

@ShirleyBallas I loved everyone. Seeing Annabelle blossom, Bobby's beautiful personality, Ellie growing up into a beautiful lady in front of us. BUT the joy I felt when watching Layton and Nikita was something else. They smashed down barriers and stuck 2 fingers up to the non enlightened.
@OliveCoyneolive@ShirleyBallas All three finalists have 'performance' experience of some sort. I've loved watching everyone. There is a special partnership between Layton and Nikita something never seen before, which is smashing down barriers. I love Layton and Nikita @kuzmin__nikita
@LennyHenry Just watched Three Little Birds So glad I could watch all episodes together. Would not have been able to wait a week between episodes! Not easy storylines to watch, but a brilliant telling of truthful journeys that 3 beautiful, strong women made. Always loved you, Lenny Henry

@BishopNewcastle @NlandNP I really hope this is investigated and those responsible are identified and the reason made public. So very sad. Who would do this?
Welcome to Ireland where people get away with racism! This little black girl broke my heart. Don’t skip this post without leaving a million heart for her. Make her famous…
@mhdksafa I actually don't know what to say. Heartbreaking. I hope the beautiful young person has been blessed with the love and recognition she deserves since this has happened. Heartbreaking to watch this.

I'm honestly not doing great at skipping and have failed miserably on some days. Got to 20 skips in a row a few times tonight. I'm not great at posting pics of myself butI i will keep at it.
@DavidNautilus1 Thank you for the shout out for Early Years, but not just at this time of the year for some EY practitioners. I'm in a LA 50 week setting in Scotland and we do exceptional work for 50 weeks in the year. I love Early Years but it's hard work. ❤️
https://t.co/Vb7p5w2MqH countdown has started! Tomorrow I’ll be doing my fundraising challenge for Stroke Association, there’s still time to make a donation. My JustGiving page tells you what I’m doing and why https://t.co/RibhJynhLe
@andthoughshebe1 I don't understand why a group of people would do that to a child. It's so sad that a lot of people say they have experienced similar things. It is not right. I work in early years, I will always do my best to help children experience and learn empathy, tolerance, acceptance.
@felicityb5 @MISSNTEACHING You've hit the nail on the head when you said 'your expectations.' I question adults expectations of children everyday. And yes I get frustrated when a child 'doesn't do what I expect' BUT they are young children and punishment is now being viewed differently thankfully.
