#Ramadan feels so heavy for many of us this year
May Allah lift the heaviness of the silent battles we carry and fill our hearts with clarity + peace. Ameen
The power of duas♥️
One of the girls had struggles with conceiving due to a number of health issues etc. I always knew deep in my heart she’d become a mum one day. Alhamdulilah after years she’s now a boy mum!
The duas we make for our friends and others are so so powerful.
Does your heart sometimes just yearn for closure ? from those who you no longer speak to? or haven’t spoken to in years?
Just that longing for peace of mind.
I have this bad habit of constantly buying new clothes for different occasions,
I really need to start re-wearing and make better use of some of my old expensive clothes that I already have from my wardrobe😩..
I think ppl forget that reality doesn’t always match the ‘picture-perfect’ moments we see online.
Example: uploading stories of iftaar gatherings during Ramadan doesn’t mean I have the most perfect family or anything?
or just because I post good things doesn’t mean I’m happy?
As you grow older and have your own home you start to realise that we would acc have Ramadan easy back then, lovingly prepared food made by our mums, we’d have so much free time on our hands to do acts of worship, now it’s hard to juggle everything because of responsibilities …
