I join those mourning today’s loss of Rev. James Lawson.

He represented the best of us and trained activists to withstand the worst of our nature. And thus changed the course of Nashville's history when we became the first city in the South to desegregate its downtown.

MNPS was 6th among top 100 districts in ELA growth from 2022 to 2023
MNPS was one of two top 100 districts in the Top 10 in both math & ELA
