Celebrated my bday with a water bottle rocket launch! We took a pop bottle, designed and built the fins and launchpad, discussed & explored various materials & their properties, and learned about potential & kinetic energy! Then screamed! @PlowmansPS2016 #grade1 #PeelEML

After noticing that Mourning Doves were visiting our small, “First Gen” bird feeder, we redesigned the feeder using a larger bottle. On a side note, to empty the bottle, we used Mentos! @PlowmansPS2016 #grade1 #PlowmansEmpowers #PeelEML

We had some OLD netbooks that were destined for recycling. We opened them up to explore the inner workings of a computer. Then, we took the RAM out of some and put them into others to double their speed. Next we’ll install Chrome OS! @PlowmansPS2016 #PlowmansEmpowers #Grade1
