How lucky are we? Our principal, Mrs. Cohn, visited our classroom to read us a book! She read a book called, "When Things Aren't Going Right, Go Left!" She taught us what we can do if we're worried about something or if things just aren't going our way. Thank you, Mrs. Cohn!

We had an awesome St. Patrick's Day!☘️🌈💰 Thank goodness the leprechaun only played a few tricks on us and we got to end the day with Mrs. Shelton teaching us new math games! @VV_Voyagers

We got to celebrate showing STAR behavior at recess by getting to play board games with our friends! We also had a guest Warrior athlete come to read to us for Read Across America Week. This has been a pretty great Friday! @VV_Voyagers

It's beginning to look a lot like... Christmas! We're so excited to add ornaments to our kindness tree & see what kindness challenges Cookie the elf brings! ( I just love pic 1 where a student grasped a new math strategy 🤗) @VV_Voyagers

It's getting spooky in here! 🎃👻 We played Boo Bump in math to practice our addition facts! We've been learning all about our skeletons in science to know why they're so important. We also got to talk about our feelings after reading Crankenstein. 💀 @VV_Voyagers

We're learning to skip count in math. We solved skip counting puzzles and then used them to do hopscotch as we skip counted out loud! The kids absolutely loved it! @VV_Voyagers

Today we learned all about STAR behavior. 🌟⭐🌠 We went to different stations around our school and talked about what STAR behavior looks like. This week our STAR student is Annalie. She is helpful, thoughtful, responsible, and kind! @VV_Voyagers

We were mathematicians AND scientists in 2nd grade today! Most importantly, we learned how to have a growth mindset and that mistakes help us learn!
