If hes any good at his job I'd bet the company would then sponsor a permanent residency visa so he can stay as long as he likes. Australia is very accommodating towards the UK.

@TeachSUFC @SkyNews The contracts don't work like that, they are based on 365 days if you use them or not. Use them for 1 day a week it makes no difference to the landlord. The contracts are usually done over a 10 year lease as well. (used to work as a estate manager for a council in Cheshire)
