@dijenks @anneliese_midge They’ve already had the 57 southbound exit closed for almost a year, it was due to open in December, then pushed to February now January 2027.

It’s added 30 mins minimum to my commute every day.

Oh and now the m62 exit for the 57 IS also closed for a year 😩

Enjoyable first session of Middle Leader Mastery tonight (our 5th year of running it!)

We spent time with subject leaders looking at department improvement plans. Thinking about expertise, upstream thinking (thanks @PepsMccrea) and finished with some @SaysMiss brilliance

I’m working on a programme for our Y10 & 11 called the 1% Club

Based off Atomic Habits (& The Bear) it’s all about continuous improvement & empowering them to be independent, motivated & self regulated learners.

This ties in with our work on metacognition & learning behaviours

@Ivesey2 Suppose it’s all down to the culture of your school. We plan to launch all 10 across the year but in reality, I’m cool with it taking 4 terms to get it right.

Some plays are new to us, so we’ll need time for mastery.
