Make it small, make it fun -
Pair it with something that you love to do naturally.
Don't worry about 720.
Just take care of today's 3.
And the transformation will gradually take care of itself.
Here's a fundamental principle that has changed my life.
Will Durant (read everything by him) wrote:
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not a virtue but a habit."
I realized that for anything worth doing or worth becoming -
It has to become a daily action.
Something must happen to your pectoral muscles when you do 720 pushups.
Something better must happen in your brain when you meditate for 720 minutes.
Something good must happen in your life and your work when you reach out to 720 people.
To sum it all up -
If you want to supercharge your sales as a creative craftsperson:
• Don't focus on features but your frequency
• Let Your Work Do The Talking
• Win People, Not Projects.
Go get'em.
I remember how much I used to dread contacting people to sell myself and my work.
At the same time - I knew how important it was to "put myself out there" - how else would I get projects? How else would I survive?
Let me share my story of transformation.
My emails were getting opened,
my phone calls were being answered -
and I drank a lot of beers with the best in the business.
Soon the projects arrived, and I didn't even have to ask for it.
And it's all because I focused on the people - not the projects.
