If you disagree with JJ Watt about the Kirby Joseph hit, you’re wrong.
It’s OK to admit that you know less about ball than a first ballot hall of famer.
If you can’t admit that, then you’re just telling us you don’t know ball and we can ignore you.
7.47 yards per attempt passing, 3 rushing TDs. Both backs 4.3 or higher yards per carry. 390 yards of offense. Zero turnovers…
And some clown gets paid to call it a lacklustre offensive performance. I’m not linking it, don’t go look, you know who it is. Stop supporting nonsense
In the wake of that pick, there were so many people completely misunderstanding what kind of player Campbell was. Running a 4.4 40 isn't what makes a LB good in coverage. It's all on-field processing and preparation in the film room.
So impressed with the ascension of #Lions MIKE LB Jack Campbell this season, as he seemingly improves every week.
Through Week 9, his 80.1 overall PFF grade ranks...
- 9th amongst LBs
- 5th amongst starting LBs (50+% of snaps)
Run defense: 79.0 (9th)
Coverage grade 75.4 (4th)
@CTM81 I very much doubt there are two more moves coming. Brad Holmes has not seen things that way at all in his time in Detroit. The guys you get for 6ths and 7ths are generally not better than what we already have unless they're dragging a boat anchor contract or headaches with them.
The Lions are down to their first, second, fourth, sixth and two seventh-round picks in 2025. That's not a lot of ammo for more moves of any significance. #OnePride
So that you have something other than politics to yell about today, here's the video I made about what separates Brian Branch's hit from this. What Poyer did here is only half of what Branch did wrong vs the Packers. It's the extra three steps to contact. https://t.co/6Gjj2b6kVX
How anyone could have looked at the 2023 Bears offense and said "I'm hiring that guy to be my OC" above the high school level was always confusing to me.
Former #Raiders coach Norv Turner is coming out of retirement to join Las Vegas’ remodeled offensive staff, sources tell me, @RapSheet and @MikeGarafolo.
Scott Turner, Norv’s son, is a top candidate to handle playcalling after OC Luke Getsy’s firing. Now, it’s a family reunion.
Hey, recorded a video on why Z smith is a great addition to the team. Compensation wasn't available when I recorded it. Lions take on 605K salary this year, my theory is that reducing this was what held up the trade for a time.

@NickJoe58 With all due respect to James Houston he has no trade value unless he finishes the year playing well enough that you wouldn't want to trade him.
@RussNFLDraft That fifth-rounder has a 25% chance of being a useful player in 2028. A 2026 late 6th-round to early 7th-round pick swap is essentially meaningless. You're not wrong.
