"Let your kids do the Bible reading (during family worship). Not only does it help them develop reading skills but it increases their familiarity with the Bible." -Tim Bertolet.
@grcastleberry Amen.
Every day is a gift from God. May we spend our lives knowing Christ, reflecting His love and pointing others to the hope found in Him.
@mkainerugaba You're already in a holy union but busily tweeting on aesthetically PLASTIC-BBL made wannabes, naye where is the decency and respect of some men 😒🤦🏻♀️🙎🏻♀️
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
The Nature of War
The Bible does not hide the reality of the Christian life. It is not a life of ease and comfort, but a life of war. As soon as a person is born of God, he enters a battlefield. There are three powerful enemies standing against us: the world, the flesh, and Satan.
John tells us clearly in these verses that victory is already available—but it does not come automatically. “Whoever is born of God overcomes the world.” Notice that it does not say that the world will leave us. It does not say that the war will end. Rather, it says that we will overcome it.
What is meant by “the world” here?
1 John 2:15:17
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father, but is of the world.
The world and its lusts are passing away, but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Many new believers, as I once did, think that becoming a Christian means instant gratification and no struggle. But the apostle Paul also warned: “All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12). The battle is real, but so is the victory.
The Weapon of Victory
John tells us the secret: “This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”✝️
Faith is not just mental belief, but active trust in Jesus Christ—the Son of God. It is to believe that:🤍
John 16:33
I have told you these things so that you may have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.
John 1:4:4
Little children, you are from God and have overcome him, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.💯
The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us (Ephesians 1:19-20)
In the early months of my conversion, I faced intense trials and discouragement. Old habits tried to return. Friends pulled me back. Doubts attacked my mind. But every time I turned to Jesus and said, “Lord, I believe that you are the Son of God,” strength came. The battle was not over, but I began to see small victories—and those small victories strengthened my faith.
Dear friend, if you are struggling right now—whether with sin, with fear, with despair, or with the pressures of the world—take heart. The same promise is for you. You are not fighting to win, but with victory because Christ has already won.
The one who overcomes is not the strongest, the smartest, or the most experienced. The one who overcomes is the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. ✨️✝️🔥🕊️

“And Jesus said “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, PRIDE, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” - Mark 7:20-23
