@CraackedEggs He caught it with open fist. There's a difference. Tell someone to swing a metal rod and try punching it mid swing vs try stopping it with open fist. You'll know
probably one of the softest, most tender ways to love someone
is simple curiosity
to love someone is to watch the movie they keep talking about
just to understand why matt damon matters to them
to love someone is to eat garlic bialy with oj in the morning
just to understand why they never get tired of it
to love someone is to sit with their favourite songs
and understand why there’s shrek on their playlist
love is wanting to understand the small things and see the world through their eyes
there’s an innate pleasure in showing something you love to someone else
a movie you’ve watched a hundred times and they haven’t
a place you’ve traveled by heart but is new to them
a dish you’ve tasted before and they’re discovering for the first time
it’s the only way familiar things feel new again
not by erasing your memory
but by instead seeing it through the eyes of someone you care about
What women call their husbands ‘man-children’ is often just a man finally expecting balance instead of one-sided giving.”
The reason modern women call their husbands ‘man-children’ is because, for much of their lives, they never had to work hard to earn attention, love, or sex from men. These things often came easily, so they never had to develop relationship skills or learn ‘game.’
Because of this, many developed unrealistic expectations and fantasy-driven behaviors, similar to a spoiled child who has always had their needs met without effort.
They never learned reciprocity, because there were always hundreds of men willing to give them attention, validation, gifts, time, and emotional labor without requiring anything in return.
To develop ‘game,’ a person must understand how the opposite sex thinks, what they value, their love language, and how they respond emotionally and psychologically.
Men were forced to learn this about women because men do not get sex, love, or commitment easily. They had to study women, adapt, self-improve, take rejection, and provide value in order to be chosen.
Women, on the other hand, were rarely required to learn how men think or what men need, because access to men came with little effort. As a result, many never learned reciprocity or how to meet a man’s emotional, physical, or psychological needs. Even in relationships, the man was often the one doing most of the giving, romance, gifts, financial support, emotional reassurance, and sexual effort.
This is why you often hear women say that relationships are ‘easy’ but marriages are ‘hard.’ A relationship allows imbalance; marriage demands consistency, responsibility, sacrifice, and reciprocity….requires caring for your partner even when it’s inconvenient….something many were never conditioned to do.
Because of this unfamiliar demand for mutual effort, men are perceived as children simply for expecting food, affection, respect, intimacy, and appreciation…basic needs that women were never trained to view as reciprocal obligations.
Imagine your girlfriend is telling you “I love you” and always acting jealous when you mention other girls but whole time she secretly cheating on you.
it’s a red flag when your partner turns cruel during conflict. disagreements shouldn’t erase kindness. even in chaos, you should still feel care, still feel respect, still feel loved. a partner who stays kind when things are hard isn’t a luxury... it’s essential
The math on this image is insane.
New Horizons transmitted at 2,000 bits per second from 3 billion miles away. Slower than a 1990s dial-up modem. It took 16 months to download all the flyby data.
The spacecraft had to hit a target box 100km wide, arriving within 150 seconds of schedule, after 9 years of flight. Miss it and the preloaded observation commands point at empty space.
Ten days before arrival, the spacecraft crashed and went into safe mode. Engineers had 72 hours to restore everything.
The probe is now 5 billion miles out, still whispering data back to Earth. We got 50 gigabits of Pluto photos using technology slower than your phone’s bluetooth.
I overheard a girl at a bus station telling her boyfriend, “I can’t help you through everything, but I can love you through everything,” and I just hope everyone finds this kind of love.
saw a quote on IG that read:
"someday, all the love you've given to the wrong people will find its way back to you in someone who has waited their whole life for your kind of love".
dating to marry isn’t pressure. it’s purpose. i don’t date people I can’t imagine a future with. stop treating dating like a joke or a pastime. relationships are meant to be intentional. they’re deeper than a cruise
If you can't be a good boyfriend/ girlfriend, you can't be a good husband/wife either.
Marriage doesn't automatically give you some ability or take away your bad habits or behaviors.. it takes years of practice to have strong core values and qualities.
