The OG Resident Evil had such a good artistic direction. The mansion is so vibrant and colorful, making the zombies feel like intruders, then the remake just goes "WooOoOooOO I'm a haunted mansiooon! Look at my creepy gray filter I bet you're so fucking scared right now! 👻"
