هل ركوب المرأة لوحدها مع السائق خلوة؟
Is a woman riding alone with a male driver considered khalwah (seclusion)?

Iraq will release 457 Syrians arrested by #SDF on pretexts of being #ISIS members & transferred by the US earlier this year, after no evidence was found.
Other foreign detainees, including Iraqis, were already released.
The move follows Iraqi authorities completing the questioning of ~5,700 transferred detainees, incl. ~3,500 Syrians, ahead of their trials.

How to deal with Isrāʾīliyyāt reports
S͟hayk͟h Muḥammad ʾIbn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn said:
As for what has been narrated from the reports of their rabbis and scholars, then it falls into three categories:
The first: That which the Sharīʿah has testified to be false. Such reports are to be rejected, and this occurs frequently in what has been transmitted from the Isrāʾīliyyāt in the books of Tafsīr. For many Isrāʾīlī reports are mentioned in the interpretation of the Qurʾān which the Sharīʿah itself testifies to be false.
The second: That which the Sharīʿah has testified to be true. Such reports are accepted—not merely because they are from the reports of Banū Isrāʾīl, but because the Sharīʿah has testified to their truth and established that they are indeed true.
The third: That regarding which the Sharīʿah has neither affirmed nor denied its truth. In such matters, one suspends judgment: they are neither affirmed as true nor declared false. For if we affirm them, they may in fact be false, and thus we would have affirmed falsehood; and if we declare them false, they may in fact be true, and thus we would have denied the truth. Therefore, we suspend judgment concerning them.
There is, however, no harm in narrating such reports when there is a beneficial purpose in doing so, such as encouraging good deeds or instilling fear of sin and punishment.

S͟h. ʾAḥmad Shākir said regarding the ḥadīth :
From Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ:
“Tasbīḥ [Subḥān Allāh] is for men, and clapping is for women.”
“Let the foolish and stupid advocates of women in our time look at this! Among them are the atheists and the ignorant and audacious ones who claim knowledge of matters they do not know. They are the ones who have brought the Muslim woman out of her seclusion into the streets, universities, factories, and places of entertainment. They want to corrupt the lofty Islamic character, and they fabricate lies against Allah and His Messenger, claiming that Islam made women equal to men and did not prevent them from mixing with men!
Let them look at how Allah and His Messenger protected the Muslim woman from even having her voice heard during the prayer [i.e. when alerting the imam, she claps rather than saying Subḥān Allāh]. But these people have no shame!
May Allah punish them! How far they have been turned away [from the truth]!”
[Kitāb Ḥukm al-Jāhiliyyah 246]
al-Shaykh Ṣāliḥ Sindī (حفظه الله تعالى), in his explanation of al-ʿAqīdah al-Ṭaḥāwiyyah, mentions three contexts in which the scholars use the expression “Ahl al-Qiblah”:

The Ḥanābilah on Seeking Assistance from Disbelievers Against Muslim Rebel Groups🧵
The Ḥanbalī jurists generally prohibited seeking the military assistance of disbelievers against Muslim rebels, because the purpose of fighting the rebels is to restrain them and return them to obedience, not to treat them like enemy disbelievers.
However, they explicitly made an exception in cases of genuine need or necessity.
Ibn Qudāmah (d. 620 AH) said:
“He should not seek assistance against them from a disbeliever, nor from one who regards killing them as lawful, because the objective is to restrain them, not kill them. But if a need arises for their assistance, and he is able to restrain them from doing what is impermissible, then seeking their assistance is permissible; otherwise, it is not.”
So Ibn Qudāmah lays down two conditions:
-> there must be a real need for their assistance;
-> the Muslim authority must be capable of restraining them from unlawful conduct against the rebels.

S͟h. Khālid al-Mushayqīḥ (a Close Student of S͟hayk͟h ʾIbn al-ʿUthaymīn) said :
If the ḥākim rules by other than what Allah has revealed due to whims and desires :
If that occurs in individual matters, then it is fisq.
But if that occurs in the generality of matters, by enacting laws from himself, or by adopting laws that were established before him, while acknowledging disobedience and opposing the command of the Most Merciful; then does such a ruler become a disbeliever, an apostate from the religion? This is a point of disagreement among the people of knowledge.

And his ﷺ saying, “that You make the Qur’an the spring of my heart and the light of my chest”:
Al-rabīʿ means the rain which brings the earth to life. The Qur’an is likened to it because hearts are brought to life through the Qur’an.
