GoFundMe has a policy of not raising money for legal defense of violent crime. In spite of this, a fund has been established for the parents of Lindsay Clancy and has raised over 1 million dollars. This money will likely go for her legal defense which circumvents GoFundMe policy.

As the Lindsay Clancy jury has deliberated for 10 hours without a verdict, there is a strong possibility there will not be a murder 1/2 conviction. If deliberation drags on multiple days, a hung jury looms. I think the prosecution blew it with the opening/closing statement shift.
