His wish was to get closer to the reality we live in after all. He wanted a connection, to make us see his work: the most human thing one can do is create and that's what he did.

I've always had a great fascination with Gaster ever since I was a kid and now it's even gotten bigger and stronger. he wants to reach out to us, he suffered and shattered all across the universe which was a tragedy but maybe that's what he wanted.
