@SaffronOlive I think a good alternative to banning would be to use a Restricted list in more than just Vintage like have both maybe. That way there's less feel bad if you buy a playset only for a card to get banned it could get Restricted and you'd still have the other 3 copies

Honestly I'm kinda tired of the Commander ruined MTG thing like no one blamed Modern or it's players for the issues Modern Horizons caused to the format. WOTC focused too much on an eternal format had it been Legacy or Vintage we would be seeing similar issues #MTG #Commander

@SaffronOlive I think the damage Commander has done to MTG has less to do with it as a format and more so the inherent problems of focusing so much of their resources on a non rotating format had they focused on Legacy or Vintage it would have had the same impact imo.
