A couple of reflections on this little tactic.

Pros:
+immediately de-escalates situation
+no robot dogs harmed
+robot dog has no thumbs, cannot operate elevator

Cons:
-you don't get loot
-not as satisfying as shooting them with a laser
-need to get close to evil robot dog
