1. Attack the free press – Discredit the journalist, not the facts.
2. Frame accountability as betrayal – Anyone exposing wrongdoing becomes “the enemy.”
3. Claim moral superiority – Call the journalist “discredited” without evidence while offering none of your own.
4. Exploit tribal loyalty – Demand allegiance over truth. “He’s on our side, so facts don’t matter.”

This is not about national security—it’s about control. Hegseth, an unqualified DEI hire in camo cosplay, is trying to shift blame for a leaked military operation by launching a propaganda attack on the press.
