Half-Volley Thoughts

Just a cricket fan sharing thoughts.

There are some people who give a lot of fucks about portraying themselves as people who don’t give a fuck.

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

I really wonder just how important Jaiswal's 29 off 29 was in the Eliminator.

CSK finally has a 'Thala-like' finisher, Kartik Sharma—improving his strike rate after the match is already finished.

Both teams are trying hard to lose.

Insane even by his own standards. Considering, there’s usually a trade-off between strike rate and average, but he somehow masters both.

Truly a legend in every sense, Virat Kohli.

@CricCrazyJohns Aren't they useless until you don't have a world cup?

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

Harsha got very excited about the review, even though the impact was clearly outside off. When the replay confirmed it, he called it a brilliant decision.

No, Harsha. That’s called being wrong, not insightful.

Listening to bhogle makes your ear bleed.

@mufaddal_vohra What are the odds of losing 20 consecutive toss?

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

Another day, another responsibility for Washi. No. 5 in ODIs.

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

Thanks to Harsh Gujral and Abhinav Bassi's Dubai tourism ad, all I did was buy Hotstar Ad Free Version.

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

@mufaddal_vohra They are getting out on straight deliveries

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

Not a Gambhir fan, but I don’t see what he can do if the batters get out to straight deliveries.

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

@CricCrazyJohns Are the SA spinners good or are we throwing it all away?

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

@academy_dinda Now the responsibility of drawing the match lies solely on Jadeja and Sundar

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

Sundar used to be a powerplay specialist bowler from 2017 to 2021. Now Abhishek Sharma and Dube get to bowl before him. What kind of captain and coach is this?

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

Today I realized how stress-free watching cricket is when your idol isn’t playing

@Tattu52745037 Beyond Headingley and the WC final, Stokes has mostly struggled for form. Meanwhile, Jadeja keeps delivering with the bat just without the hype

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

Irrespective of today’s result, Jadeja is a far better all-rounder than Ben Stokes.

[Half-Volley Thoughts @ms__8896]

While stokes may shine in bursts but when it comes to consistency, Jadeja clearly has the edge.
