Exceptional Assets. Global Access.
Building wealth requires understanding assets.
Not everything that makes money is an asset.

The number one thing that separates the middle class and the wealthyβ¦
I asked a Dallas private equity entrepreneur:
-How somebody can stand out in the business world today.
-The number one thing that separates the middle class and the wealthy.
And the best industry people should be looking to get into in todayβs world.
This guy is back in Nigeria to interview another young billionaire, Mr lyinoluwa Aboyeji, he has built a 2 billion dollar company and Mark Zuckerberg ended up investing in one of his companies tooπ₯Άβ¨
Whatβs the best industry that people should be looking to get into?
Houston multi-millionaire and cybersecurity entrepreneur shares the best industry people should get into and what keeps people broke.
As a founder, If youβre raising venture capital, sitting in board meetings, or speaking with institutional investors, there are about 30-40 business terms you should know cold. I have been doing this for more than 10years so these are the ones that matter.

1. WACC β Weighted Average Cost of Capital
This is one of the most important concepts in corporate finance.
Meaning
The average cost of every dollar the company uses to finance itself.
Money isnβt free.
A company can obtain money from:
Equity (selling shares)
Debt (bank loans, bonds)
Each has a cost.
WACC combines both.
Example:
You need β¦100 million.
You raise
β¦60m from investors
β¦40m from the bank
Investor expects 20% return.
Bank charges 10% interest.
Your WACC is
(60% Γ 20%) + (40% Γ 10%)
= 12% + 4%
= 16%
Meaning:
Every project you invest in should ideally earn more than 16%.
If not, youβre destroying value.
β¨
βΈ»
β¨
Why VCs care
Suppose you tell a VC
βOur expansion will generate 8% yearly.β
If your WACC is 16%
The VC thinks
βWhy are you investing in something earning less than your cost of capital?β
Bad management.
β¨
βΈ»
β¨
2. CAC β Customer Acquisition Cost
One of the first numbers investors ask.

Revenue

Gross margin
70%
LTV
β β¦252,000
β¨
βΈ»
β¨
Investors love
LTV : CAC
If
LTV = β¦250k
CAC = β¦10k
Ratio
25:1
Fantastic.
Generally:
Below 1:1 β Losing money
Around 3:1 β Healthy
5:1+ β Excellent (assuming the numbers are sustainable)
β¨

Ruth, founder of Bhyldr Limited, is seeking N5m to revolutionize the building materials industry with her business.
After her presentation, the Lions started asking questions.
Then Kyari Bukar was shocked that her software developer didn't know the meaning of MVP.
Great businesses donβt only need capital.
They need strategy, structure, and the right investors.
@CedarCapitalHQ help ambitious companies become investment-ready and connect with opportunities for growth.
The wealthy donβt just buy things.
They buy assets.
They buy equity.
They buy ownership.
The difference between looking rich and becoming wealthy is knowing where to put your money.
A lot of businesses are working hard but still not making money because the brand doesnβt communicate value clearly. I help women turn ideas into brands and brands into income. Thatβs the work. Soft life is cute, but structured income is better. #womeninwealth
He closed a billion-dollar oil deal with 3 words!
I interviewed the billion-dollar oil & gas entrepreneur @kolaKarim in Lagos, Nigeria, and I asked him how he got RICH!
I asked him for the secret to negotiation in business.
I also asked him if people need a lot of money to start a business in todayβs world, and the importance of doing business globally.
Lastly, I asked him for the best advice heβd give the younger generation.
@maziNdu4Real Think of it this way: instead of needing tens or hundreds of millions to buy a property, Equivest lets you invest a smaller amount alongside other investors. You own a fraction of the asset and benefit as it generates returns.
@maziNdu4Real Thatβs exactly why I built Equivest.
to make real estate investing more accessible. Instead of buying an entire property, people can invest fractionally in carefully selected real estate assets and start building wealth with less capital.
