@SFUnified In-person public comment is done. There is disorder in the audience as audience members demand the right to speak. They don't want SFUSD to jump to online comment. They gave the Board something.

@UESF Educators at GWHS came out today at lunch to show some support for our first day of bargaining! It definitely helped me get through a long night of passing proposals to @SFUnified's bargaining team.

By a vote of 6-1 the board approves a settlement agreement with Superintendent Wayne, who resigned effective immediately. Meeting immediately adjourned

Regardless of how well you think @SFUSD_Supe Dr. Matt Wayne has done, he seems to be resigning. So, my understanding is that the BoE is voting on his resignation/severance package. The BoE will report back (not sure in what format) after their closed session discussion.

The meeting started a couple minutes after 5, they took public comment for up to a total of an hour. There were very few in person and online commenters, so public comment ended just now (apparently not a lot of folks online). My comment below.
