Year 3 ✅ What a year it has between moving schools, COVID regulations, remote learning days, and much more. I couldn’t have made it without the team I was fortunate enough to work with. Next year I’ll be a Tiger again at BES, but now I’ll still be at LMS teaching summer school!
Last day of school “award ceremony”. Students were given a superlative unique to them and on the front was a word cloud full of positive words that their classmates said about them. It was a such a great way to end the year! @LibertyMiddleS2
Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership✅ I have learned so much about myself and how to be an educational leader that focuses on social justice and equity.Eventually, I’ll be an elementary school principal, but for now you’ll still find in my 5th grade classroom.#woodUlead21
Last day of grad school means virtual class, in person class, matching t-shirts, and a whole lot of pictures. Two weeks until graduation ! #woodulead21@longwoodu

Learning about Black History Month while using text features at the same time. Students chose an African American figure to research and created a one page newsletter using headings, bold words, pictures, etc. Such a variety of people were chosen!
The only words that come to my mind are THANK YOU! Thank you to those you nominated me and said such wonderful compliments that led me to be selected Teacher of the Year. No way I could do this without my amazing co-workers and students! @LibertyMiddleS2@BCPS_Education
Who doesn’t love a game of Trashetball? Students were broken into teams to answer questions using context clues. Teams that the got the question right could shoot their ball in the “hoop.” Fun and engaging way to review for tests!
Celebrated the life of MLK Jr. by walking around my neighborhood and picking up trash with Cooper. Keeping the walking paths clean for others to enjoy! #WoodULead21@DoctorT_A
Under those masks are some smiling kids! Thank you to everyone who donated books and goodies to these students! It was awesome to see their joy when they realized someone they had never met wanted to give to them. Hopefully, they will continue the giving spirit. Happy Holidays!
Can’t wait for my students to come in tomorrow and see their stockings! These will be full of books, pencils, erasers, and other little goodies for them to take over the holidays 🎄@LibertyMiddleS2
