We wrote the word โmightโ, an unfamiliar word form our text, several times. This helped us to practice recognizing its letters as well as to learn how to say it!
Using a KWL chart helps us think about what we already know and what we want to know before reading a nonfiction text. We also can then think and write about all the things we learned after we read! @SEM_Dalers
We have been talking about the problem & solution in the stories we read! Today we went to search for the exact parts in our books. We wrote P for problem and S for solution on post-it notes and then looked through the text to find the page where each was. ๐๐ @SEM_Dalers
To celebrate #WorldReadAloudDay this week, we read one of my favorites- Frog on a Log. ๐๐ We searched for rhyming words using our Smart Pals after we read & played rhyming bingo! @SEM_Dalers
