Best advice I ever learned from my mom, a 37 year retired educator: “If you always do & say what’s best for KIDS there will always be a place for you in education. & you will piss multiple people off along the way. Get used to it.” More true now than ever. #thatonekid
@chrissyteigen I teach students who are blind/visually impaired and would LOVE some help with supplies! I am a newer teacher and am trying to build my classroom to best help my kiddos! #teachingyear2 https://t.co/mrZvwiP01k
Teachers—we need you and we love you! School looks a little different this fall, and we want to help any way we can, so reply here with your wishlist. If you’re not a teacher, wouldn’t it be something if we cleared ALL of their lists? We can if we work together! #CleartheLists
@chipgaines Oh my what an amazing gesture to help us out! I teach students who are blind and every little bit helps! Braille books aren’t cheap 🥰 https://t.co/mrZvwiP01k

No, but nurses have PPE, limited patient contact, and infectious disease training. I have a couple English degrees, 120 kids, a mask, and a box of Clorox wipes. Please don’t compare us.
There are so many things I can say about @BeckyPringle, but let me just say this: She is going to put you to work, she is going to push, insist and convince you to do all you can for our students, our members, our public schools, and the social justice we so desperately need.
@kiddielitprof I remember doing this as a student! At the end of the year all the 1st graders then each had to count 100 of the tabs out and put them in baggies to be donated! Now I’ve later learned that we were just demonstrating a standard by counting 100🤣
@GetSpectrum your customer wait times are rediculus... I have spent hours this morning waiting to get in contact with someone. At least provide the call back option where you call us when we get to the top of the list. #annoyed#IHaveALifeToo#CancelingService
“Many students will return with emotional trauma and require a period of adjustment. Adequate social and emotional supports for both staff and students will be needed.” Lara Center, an elementary school library aide in the Denver. #EdChat@ColoradoEA
