We have been working hard on finding ‘treasure letters’ in our books this week! Today some pirates stopped in and left us some of their treasure! We used the gifts to find some more letters in our books!

Today in grade 1/2 we read The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein and brainstormed things we are thankful for! We ended with a fun finger painting activity!

Today we worked on representing numbers in different ways! Students brainstormed ways that we can represent a number then got to work! We did a gallery walk after to look at each group's hard work! I was so impressed! We even discovered tallies! @centralspry

After learning about Ramadan we made prayer mats in grade 1! We were so lucky to have one of our friends bring in a real prayer mat to show our class after making our own! @centralspry #ramadanmubarak
