I’ve never done a density column before, but hearing the excitement in my @ArgyleISD 5th graders voices made all the prep worth it. My favorite kid quote today was ‘I made a rainbow that looks so good I want to eat it’

Gosh I love the excitement my 5th graders have for learning! We were able to learn about the scientific method by conduct an investigation about paper airplanes today #FunFriday#FunInFifthGrade#ArgyleEagles
Finished up five days with grade five! Despite the strangeness around this new year, I’m really loving my new district and new teacher family @ArgyleISD#EagleNation
Brainstorming how to support my kiddos emotional needs and came up with this interactive slide- students can drag and drop the emoji they identify with and then type a reflection. Hoping to add this into their digital INB as part of our daily warmups #funwithfifthgrade#SEL
@hillhollly It’s all done on google slides ☺️
Honestly, it was pretty tedious, but really simple to figure out. I watched a YouTube video and then played around four a couple hours figuring it out
I experimented with @MicrosoftTeams today using a come and go format for my students. I was able to chat with multiple students and check in to see how they were doing. Looking forward to utilizing Teams more moving forward! @CobbInTech@GarrettMSGators#DigitalLearning
Check out these super cool devices @GarrettMSGators AC kiddos came up with when they were challenged to create devices that used part of the electromagnetic spectrum and could improve society @cobbscience#creative#science
