I'm moving away from Microsoft issues to focus on writing (environment and economics) and volunteering, so you won't see much action from me on the MS licensing front. I'll be doing more tweeting from a different account, paulmadrona3.
My take on the Russian Orthodox Church and Vladimir Putin, published in the London School of Economics' Religion and Global Society Blog.

@elonmusk Elon, a tesla fan who wants you to have the a peak experience--saving lives. You're part way, with safe cars. A donation to the World Food Organization, saving families & children, will be worth far more to you than a dispensable $6 billion.
@edbott A suggestion for Joe Manchin. Resign from the Democratic Party. Join the Republican Party (if they'll take you). Cast votes to support Biden's agenda. Since you will be a Republican, you are ensuring that the vote is bi-partisan.

@nicklabrant@TheOnion Right. Many police are honorable & well-trained. But it only takes a small percentage of a group to go bad to raise questions about the group. Unfair, yes. Yet common, yes. If the officers around Chauvin had stepped in we would have seen some blue heroes that day. Chance missed.
Many new online news sites have started in Canada, most of them non-profits. One of them, with outstanding journalism, The Narwhal, fought for and won charitable status for non-profit news orgs and can issue tax receipts to subscribers
This NBC clip really supports the notion that events in the capitol were premeditated and planned, specifically for Jan. 6. The reporter asks a good question: "how did the police not see that?" https://t.co/PKiugOj17I
I don't know how much clearer online extremists could've been: They said they were going to storm the Capitol on January 6th.
They had specific plans. It wasn't Antifa. It was a combo of QAnon, Proud Boys and pro-Trump militias, openly planning online.
How didn't police see it?
@soledadobrien He's talking about the vaccine that will be available at all the polls. It's a virus that makes everyone sick enough to vote Republican.
@mattdebord Not sure why you would get 1 mile of range from an hour on 120v, 12A. I get about 5 on my M3. I often spend 2 days at a friend's house 130 miles away, and by the time I'm ready to leave, have a full charge.
The president governs like Justice Potter Stewart defined pornography. "I know it when I see it." He knows he likes loyalty. He knows He doesn't like criticism. Where you see loyalty to the constitution, He sees disloyalty to Himself. The Rorschach result: you're fired.
Why testing is so important: when a NY hospital began testing every incoming maternity patient for covid, it found that 15% tested positive--but the great majority of those had no symptoms. You don't know how big this is until testing is comprehensive. https://t.co/xq9HEGmbmE
@ChrisMurphyCT It isn't Google. It's advertising keyword blacklists that prevent an ad from appearing on a site that uses terms like "coronavirus." One agency blocked 3% of ads on NYT in January. In March, 36%. https://t.co/oi7mpaKKkv
#COVID19 Friends couldn't find N95 masks but they found that a C cup was the right size. Hard to maintain a social distance, without a little surgery on the bra however.
