After taking Silver at the previous edition, the Motswana quartermiler returned to strike GOLD in Accra, winning the title in 44.66s.

Dennis Hove 🇿🇼 claimed Silver in 44.92s after an aggressive opening half, while Zuze Leeford 🇿🇼 secured bronze in 45.05s to complete a 2-3 podium finish for Zimbabwe.

I loved everything about these champs. From the performances to the electric atmosphere and the quick turnaround between races, it was a spectacular spectacle of all the drama the relays bring.

Hopefully this is the incentive to bring more events to this wonderful stadium. ❤️🇧🇼
