We ended the week before spring break in kindergarten being the teachers! We taught the preschoolers how to make ten and write number sentences! Kindergarteners are the best teachers!✏️ @IPSSkillen34
I believe children are the most valuable members of our society. I believe teachers are the spark that ignites learning. I believe that education is a fundamental right for every human being. @ButlerCOE

We had the best day at the Children’s Museum! I was so impressed with how much the students already knew and how excited they were to explore. Always so much fun working with @ms_panek and a huge thanks to @DrPangansclass for setting up these meaningful experiences for us!
Congrats to Kathryn (Katie) Moore '08, a primary author of a journal article for INEE. @miss_afaith '21 & student @ms_panek '23 helped with research on the article. We're proud of the synergy created between our alumni working w/current students!

Block A is officially complete! These girls have been my rocks. We have supported each other through laughs, tears, joys, and small wins! I will miss them all so much as I begin my journey of student teaching. Thanks for an incredible semester Block A!
Here’s what #BUBlockAMath came up with while comparing the blue rhombus with the red trapezoid from the pattern block set. What would you add/change/delete?
We had the awesome opportunity to engage in a worm disection with first graders @IpsButlerLab55 today! They impressed me with their excitement and knowledge about worms! They are such amazing scientists!! 🥽#bublocka @ButlerCOE
Yesterday we were trying to find our image of child. It is such a great way to collaborate with classmates and use our experiences to form these ideas on what a child is to us. Here are some of our thoughts!
We had such an awesome experience at Lab School 60 with Ms. Klein’s kindergarteners today! They welcomed us into their classroom and showed us how they represented different numbers using ones, tens, and hundreds! They also shared fun math games with us! #BUBlockAMath
Kindergarten was full of inquiry and exploration today @EEZCS! We worked on book making and shared and appreciated one another’s work! The students spent choice time taking apart an old radio and exploring with the blocks and light table too!
