We loved experimenting with different ratios of water to salt/sodium carbonate, using primary colours to make the full colour spectrum and making hypotheses about what structure our crystals will have on Monday #sciencerocks @ddwhdsb

Last week 4-2 used playdoh to simulate the rock cycle - check out those telltale sedimentary layers… with more time, heat and pressure they can morph into metamorphic rocks. Our next science experiment…making salt rock minerals! @ddwhdsb

What a day! 4-2 raised $565 in the fight against cancer, played algebra games, exploded some volcanos as we learned about igneous rocks, learned how to choose a good book at the library and ended the day with Phys. Ed.! Phew! Have a great weekend 4-2, you earned it! ❤️@ddwhdsb
