Salaam Everyone, unfortunately our event got zoom bombed. We apologize for anything that was said or shown, and don’t condone the inappropriate behavior. We’re working to report the incident. Today’s meeting is cancelled and we will postpone the meeting until further notice.
The IU muslim community is disgusted by the recent acts of white supremacy and terrorism that we have seen in Bloomington. We stand in solidarity with those who seek justice and we ask that you join us in demanding justice for Vauhxx Booker.
“All of us were super excited to have Ramadan together with our friends at IU — to pray together, fast together, and celebrate together,” junior Miriam Haque said.

Friday of Islam Awareness Week would have been our campus Jummah at a larger venue, followed by an interfaith event. Establishing relationships with our sisters and brothers of other faiths is very important to us at MSA.
We really wish we could have done this event with you, but we truly believe that the time we are in right now can be used to come together in other forms. We of all faiths will be back together eventually and with a stronger connection than ever, insha Allah.
Thursday of Islam Awareness Week would have been what is probably our biggest event every year, Taste of Islam! During this event, we like to bring in a guest speaker to talk about a relevant topic and relate it to Islam.
