2-Focus on publishing research in your chosen specialty, as this will help demonstrate your commitment and knowledge to program directors and other residency programs.

3-Remember that completing a fellowship does not guarantee a residency position, so continue to work hard.

Some tips to consider for IMGs pursuing a pre-residency fellowship:
1-Cultivate positive relationships with everyone you meet, especially your Program Director, who can support your application and provide a strong recommendation.
