The NHL’s decision to ban players from wearing specialty jerseys in pre-game warms up is gutless. Pride Night, Military Appreciation, Hockey Fights Cancer, Black History. 99% of players had no issues wearing a specialty jersey. Typical NHL, going 60 Miles per hour in reverse.

- I tell him I thought this was great, and I asked him if he used it himself?

- He says: ′′ Yes at the beginning of the year when I was new here.

I sat there and another student came to invite me to play with him. This made me happy. And now when I see someone sitting there, I also invite them to play."

Brett Cross boldly testified in front of a Texas House committee in support of legislation that would raise the minimum age to buy semi-automatic weapons from 18 to 21.

Brett Cross: “I'm so sick of hearing those three words from our elected officials…

While your prayers may have comforted you, they did nothing to absolve our pain...

Your thoughts and prayers didn't stop an 18 year old from purchasing two high powered semi automatic rifles and all of those rounds of ammunition.

🚨🚨🚨 Holy shit: A group of parents in Tennessee are OUTRAGED that a local school board caved to a conservative group and cancelled a librarian’s Mother's Day lesson inclusive to kids without moms.

The parents boldly confronted the Hamilton County School Board and held nothing back:

One dad said, “This is 2023. I'm a Christian man, married to a woman, but I think everyone should be represented fairly. If you want to keep your kids in a closet and just shelter them from everything, homeschool them. Send them to Christian school. This is a public school for everyone. Everyone. I've dealt with that woman. She loves these kids.”

The organization Moms for Liberty is a right-wing organization that campaigns against social progress and civil rights. They target local school board meetings and has deep connections to the Republican Party. Moms for Liberty also promoted stripping districts of protective COVID-19 measures and are bad news.

As a parent I’m not worried that my 9 and 13 year olds are going to be “indoctrinated” with “wokeness” at school.
I’m not worried that they’re going to ‘feel guilty about their whiteness’ because they’re learning accurate history.
I’m not worried that they’re going to be “groomed” to become furries and to make their pees pees in litter boxes.
Those things aren’t real.
Wanna know what is real?
My worry that they’re going to get shot. That someone with an AR-15 is going to go into their school and shoot them.
So, while the same gun fetishizing, AR-15 lapel pin wearing, locked and loaded family Christmas card posing Republicans fear monger & manufacture crises under the guise of “parents rights”, I say this:
It is my right as a parent to send my kids to school without worrying that they will get shot.
It ain’t the drag queens, the African American history, the books with two moms or two seahorse dads which threaten our kids.
It’s the fucking guns.

George Santos lied about nearly everything he told voters about himself before he was elected

None of these politicians have been expelled from Congress, but two brave young men who spoke out against the gun violence claiming the lives of children in Tennessee were wrongly expelled.

We must make this moment count.
