My wiki lesson about tornados. πͺοΈ It is their turn to become a meteorologist and put that data in a pictograph. It is a great lesson that integrates reading and math too! #6710App5
Diigo helps you create your own personal online knowledge library! It's the new way to save your bookmarks and share them with your colleagues. Great tool for collaboration in the classroom! https://t.co/MvXbVygyXW #6710App3
@HoffyJAMClass Some of the traditional resources in my math classroom, I take them & create them in google docs, google slides & pear deck which help integrate the technology aspect into the classroom. Students are more engaged and are able to display their work and thoughts in different ways!
As an elementary school teacher, the "big shift" I struggle with is going from traditional resources and a technology-rich environment. I have learned to not reinvent the wheel just enhance it! Just find things you're already doing in class to connect technology to it. #6710DB2
In the words of Albert Einstein, βA person who never made a mistake never tried something new.β To bring change to the classroom, we must take chances, try new things, make mistakes and learn from them. Donβt forget to have fun too!! π #6710DB2
@Fah_Vice0706 I was on that struggle bus too before our school district provided @hapara_team. It's management system that allows us to monitor student learning & provide immediate feedback for our students. I believe that teaching digital citizenship is great start for our students! π»βοΈ
@MrK_GTE This is soo important to remember! With all these new programs and learning platforms, it's okay to not know it all! Sometimes learning alongside them, they end up teaching us something too! π€ #6710DB2

Some ways I can use Twitter with my 3rd-grade students are to help them connect with other classes, get feedback, summarize what they learned and search for people, topics, and keywords to gain information about a specific topic. #EDUC6710
