Today I was accused of spitting on someone after he said something to the effect of, “Putin has better things to do than invade Ukraine.”
I made a “tssss” sound in response to what he had said. He apparently interpreted that as me spitting at him, which I immediately told him I had not done. I even reproduced the sound I had made to explain what had happened and told him that the police were just around the corner.
Despite this, he took off his sunglasses, moved closer to me in an aggressive manner and continued accusing me of spitting. He then said he was going to call the police, before giving a passerby an account of what had happened that I knew to be untrue.
After he crossed the road, he began filming me when he saw me heading towards the security hut. By the time the police arrived, both he and his child had left.

Had a man shouting at me from a van today that “that flag is part of Russia,” repeatedly trying to get a reaction from me.

I just stood there and smiled.

“KEEP SMILING!” he shouted, before giving me the wanker gesture as they drove off.

I did, in fact, keep smiling. 😂🇺🇦
