Momma passed away at 12:15 am this morning (March 11th). I'm so relieved she is no longer in pain and can rest peacefully. I love you, Mommy. Say hi to Daddy and Molly Girl for us. ❤️ #loss#cancersucks#grief
Some exciting news: I was recently promoted to Marketing Manager at ANCORP! Never thought I'd get to combine my art and graduate engineering degrees, but here we are. :) Just finished my first brochure for a new product launch, check it out! #ANCORP#marketing
Been a while since I've posted, it was a crazy year! We officially got married 11/2/25! It was a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. :) #wedding#floridawedding#happilyeveranderson#newbeginnings
Finally got to see my parent's headstone completed. Someone even put a flag there for dad. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I also bought a vase and silk flowers to be added in a few weeks. ❤️
3/11/24 @ShepKyred and I lost our mom, only 2 years after losing dad. 2024 was one of the hardest years; closing out your parents' estate takes time, on top of grieving and trying to move on with your life. Not a day goes by that we don't miss you ❤️ #grief#loss
Spent the weekend exopying our 2000 sqft shop floor. I am already incredibly sore, but overall we're happy with the outcome ☺️ Never doing it again, though! #diy#NewYear2025#shoplife
My mom received this book from my cousins after Daddy passed; they are my age and lost both their parents quite young. I started reading through it tonight. Mom highlighted quite a few passages. This one broke me... 💔 #loss#grief#loveneverends
Had an unexpected house guest this week. Poor guy was abandoned; owners sold their home and left him in the house. We fostered him until our realtor friend's brother came to give him a forever home. Such a sweet boy ❤️
Yesterday we closed on our parent's home. They lived there for 34 years. I hate losing our childhood home, especially to an incorrigible buyer, but the bills were starting to add up. It's hard to think I'll never step foot inside again... :(
I just realized that we did not receive any diploma covers at graduation. This was my 3rd college graduation, and that was a first. @UF what gives??? Is this no longer a thing?
Yesterday, I graduated with my Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering. So many people showed up to support me or streamed from home. I have never felt more loved and supported. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, it meant the world to me. ❤️ #UFgrad2024#UFBME
We're doing an inurnment for my parents this week. I made laminated and double-sided memorial cards for a keepsake. The colors of the borders matched the mini urns I bought to keep some of their ashes with me. #grief#loss#imissyou#memorials
@xgigglypuff There is no reasoning with people. Even if the bacteria were large enough to see with their own eyes, they'd still call you a liar or day you're wrong. Willful ignorance. I gave up on trying to convince anyone of anything after COVID.
@ShepKyred Do the months really NEED to be associated with seasons, though? It's convenient, but not necessary. Also, like previously stated, climate change is already mucking it up 😂
