Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
My husband Abraham was diagnosed with a very rare sacral chordoma. The surgery to remove bone and surrounding tissue lasted almost seven hours and was successful. He had a rough night and is in a lot of pain but is finally home resting. Now recovery begins. We’re so grateful for the outpouring of prayers and kind messages from all of you. Our hearts are full. ❤️
@patrickmadrid I cannot count how many times I have used that six word sentence since I first heard you tell the story years ago, Patrick.
When I was in grade school, I learned a similar type of sentence, “What’s that in the road (a)head? 😉
I wrote six words on a napkin that ended a Bible debate with two Calvinists and brought one of them back home to the Catholic Church. True story!

This striking red and black moth paid me a visit today. It is the Cinnabar moth and one of a few moths that fly during the day. Sadly their numbers have declined by some 80% in the past 35 years due to a significant drop in Ragwort (considered a weed) which is their main food source. He took a rest and then was back on his way. #CinnabarMoth #Moth #Nature #AlexandersJourney
@HouseLyndseyRN@F125AXer I don’t think there’s a person alive that could stop you! 😉Happy tears for you welling again. Lyndsey, you look so darn good! 🌿🌸💜✝️
Scott-Vincent Borba, the co-founder of the multi-billion dollar cosmetics brand e.l.f., will be ordained a Catholic priest on May 23, 2026, in the Diocese of Fresno, California.
At age 40, Borba walked away from his multimillion-dollar career. He donated his entire fortune to charity and entered Saint Patrick's Seminary in Menlo Park, California at age 42.
He credits the Blessed Virgin Mary for his conversion.
This beautiful remastered footage was captured by an off duty policeman on 8th May 1945 after Churchill officially declared Victory in Europe. Flags are strung between terraces during the street celebrations in Gateshead. 🇬🇧 #VEDay
@julie_kelly2 I’m sure similar thoughts are crossing my mind. 💭
The FDA is still not close to telling the truth on harm or death numbers. They never even admitted there was no legal route to an emergency “vaccine” for C19 to begin with! Lie, after lie after lie… from top to bottom.
