Not happy with how your season ended? Look back on all you did or didn’t do before this season. Did you get in the gym & work on your body? Did you put up thousands of shots? Did you track your coach down to watch film? Your offseason starts now…it’s up to YOU to improve.

Players: the LAST person you should be listening to during a game is your parents in the stands…if they are trying to coach you, telling you to “SHOOT IT,” I would politely ask them to keep quiet or sit in the car. In a game, you should only hear your coaches & your teammates.

It is the job of the coach to control shot selection. Poor shot selection is the result of a lack of discipline. Don't complain about it if you don't control it. Define roles & you shouldn't have an issue. Lack of structure & discipline will get you beat more often than not!

Your role at games
1. Support your son
2. Support your son's teammates
3. Support your son's coaches
4. Treat the opponent, their fans and the umpires with respect
5. Encourage other parents to do the same
6. Let the coaches do the coaching
Understand, the same people watching him are watching you, don't ruin opportunities for him by being a loudmouth nutjob
