Any guesses as to why we dressed up as reindeer for Halloween?
Let’s just say the 3/4 team has something special planned in the upcoming weeks and this was our way of “foreshadowing”.
I wonder if the kids will catch on #theresalwaysarhymeorareason#staytuned@bandedpeakrvs

These beautiful Thanksgiving cards will be heading to Feed the Hungry tomorrow!
Due to the pandemic the kiddos couldn’t volunteer their time making food this year, so as an alternative, we made thoughtful cards to put in the food packages.

3/4’s spent this week discussing, reflecting, and recognizing the impact of the Canadian residential school system.
We took time to honour survivors and their communities, and to recognize the important steps we must take to further our commitment to truth and reconciliation.
We had nearly 2 trailers full of bottles that we sent off today at the 3/4 bottle drive!
Any guesses on how many bottles/cans that equates to?
We are looking forward to putting the proceeds towards a special project. Thank you to everyone who participated. @bandedpeakrvs
We had just a little bit of fun today at the “Grade 3/4 Olympics”! A big shout out to the 7/8s for the outstanding leadership and creative events. @MrsWintersClass@bandedpeakrvs
Listen and learn!
Today we got outside to put our “hearing and sound” scientific understanding and vocabulary to work. We went for a walk and made pit stops along the way to pause and just listen. The students then noted and described what they were hearing.
Thanks @cscottbailey and @EverActiveAB for hosting an amazingly active and engaging Zoom session! Lots of ideas for our return to school and any future online learning! #abed#rvsed
Thank you to the talented artists who created this masterpiece! We are very fortunate to work in such a caring, supportive community. Thank you for the smiles... and tears today 😊 #rvsed#abed#ata#braggcreek
Grade 3/4 students stitched and painted these amazing hearts ahead of Valentines Day. A reminder that tomorrow students are welcome to wear red, white and pink. #rvsed
