On 09/28, we used @readwriteteachela ‘s Show Don’t Tell activity with comics to practice writing dialogue using descriptive language. Afterward, we used the #avid strategy #gallerywalk to provide helpful hints to their peers. Per usual, my kiddos rocked it. @SevernRivAACPS

The 1st 2 weeks with students has been one of the best kick offs to a new school year. I have class sizes ranging from 29-38 8th graders. They’re so amazing & involved in their learning, I barely notice I have nearly 40 bodies in the room. Now, if I could just remember 150 names
