Yesterday, the grade 2’s did the first assembly of the year (my first assembly of my teaching career) on Truth and Reconciliation. They did a wonderful job in setting the tone and discussing an impactful topic to the whole school. 🧡 #EveryChildMatters

We used loose parts to create our own versions of fairytales (fractured fairytales). Having students play and create first, aided in their writing process.
