@ILEdTechCon A4: I feel like I would need to work more on multitasking to help future students. Currently I work as a paraprofessional and some of my students are online, the others are in person. Being able to help both online and in person is a skill I need to work on
@lhimpelmann181@kimdarche In 8th grade when we were studying for the constitution test, my social studies teacher somehow managed to a taco analogy, and promised the class that she would through a taco party after school on the day of the test and whoever got over a 90% on the test could go. I got a 97%!
@Mkraft1986@kimdarche My freshman year in high school English class did Romeo and Juliet, and we watched the movie from 1969, and I remember me and a few others saying how the actor who played Romeo reminded us of Zac Efron when he was in High School Musical
@kimdarche A4: A vivid memory I have is my junior year English class, we had a pen pal with a student in one of the elementary schools. I found it interesting that we did it, I feel like it helped build a community and would like to be able to build a community like that once in a teacher!
@kimdarche A3 - I remember our Edgar Allan Poe unit from my 7th grade language arts class. We watched The Simpsons rendition of The Raven, and then my class went to a play of different Edgar Allan Poe short stories. The only one I remember seeing at the play was the Cask of Amontillado
@kimdarche Q2 - colored highlighters. I use different colors for different key concepts that I look up! Also, any book (as in novel). I love reading and I always find it interesting to see what books I’m reading for a course.
