OIL NEARS IRAN WAR PEAK AS U.S. FUEL COSTS SURGE
Brent crude hit $116/barrel, approaching its Iran war peak amid fears of renewed fighting after the midterms.
🔸 U.S. gasoline: $4.29/gallon, up 40% year-over-year
🔸 Additional fuel spending: $142B this year, according to Brown University researchers
🔸 Michigan and Ohio: Largest weekly gasoline price increases
Price has $NOW hit three of four longer-term targets.
Price has also flipped the blue line from resistance to support. (bullish)
Will all four targets get hit?
❤️ One Day, You’ll Wish You Had More Time With the People You Were Too Busy For.
We spend so much of our lives chasing success, answering emails, scrolling our phones, and worrying about tomorrow.
But the people we love aren’t asking for perfection, more money, or a bigger house.
They just want more of YOU.
Your presence. Your laughter. Your attention. Your time.
Put the phone down. Hug your kids. Kiss your spouse. Call your parents. Make the memories.
Because someday, the little moments you almost missed will be the ones you treasure most. ❤️🙏

MORE OIL IS LEAVING THE PERSIAN GULF THAN BEFORE THE WAR
Middle East oil exports exceeded prewar levels in the week through October 18, according to Kpler.
A U.S.-protected shipping system is keeping tankers moving despite continued attacks in the Strait of Hormuz.
Yet oil prices remain elevated as shipping costs surge, inventories tighten and traders fear renewed escalation.
🚨 ARE WE GETTING CLOSE TO AN IRAN PEACE DEAL? MARKETS ARE STARTING TO PAY ATTENTION! 👀
The US10YR continues trading right in the range I called out a few weeks ago, while the probability of an October Fed rate hike has fallen sharply. December remains a concern, but the bond market is finally showing small signs of relief.
A couple of weeks ago, I identified October 27 as my preferred deadline for an Iran peace deal. The logic hasn’t changed. President Trump would likely welcome a major diplomatic victory ahead of the midterms and the October 28 Fed decision and before mid-terms. Iran also desperately needs economic relief, with its currency under severe pressure, inflation reportedly soaring, and oil shipments dramatically below prewar levels. Both sides have powerful incentives to negotiate.
We’re seeing growing discussion about progress in U.S.–Iran talks, and equities are responding positively to peace prospects. Meanwhile, excitement surrounding SpaceX is adding to market optimism. I also raised the possibility of a SpaceX–Tesla combination months ago, and speculation around that idea is resurfacing. Nothing confirmed, but certainly worth watching.
My thesis still remains: An Iran peace deal before October 27 could help establish a near-term top in Treasury yields, relieve inflationary pressure, and set the stage for a stronger year-end rally. Historically, equities have often performed well following midterm elections. Could we see that pattern again?
The next several days could be pivotal. Stay sharp! 👀
