These days, people can be so rude. I saw a couple maybe they were on a date, I’m not sure. The guy gave the girl a bouquet, and instead of appreciating it, she started shouting, “You don’t even know my favourite flowers! What kind of gift is this, just a bouquet?”
Then she literally threw it away and walked off.
The poor guy just stood there for almost ten minutes, confused and embarrassed, trying to understand what even happened.
It honestly broke my heart.
Why do people choose partners who can’t respect their feelings? Why settle for someone who values material things more than genuine emotion? Sometimes it feels like we’re living in a world where love is measured in price tags, not in effort or sincerity.
And the truth is, a person who can’t value small gestures will never appreciate the bigger ones either.
In the end, the saddest thing is not losing someone… It’s realizing they were never capable of love in the first place.
