@StevieGFX For me, Gary Madine is the worst striker I’ve seen for us. Opinions differ, of course, but with 0 goals and a stinking attitude after paying £6m (i think?), you’d struggle to find worse.
Real lack of quality from both sides tonight. Even the Prem players look like they’re struggling. Mind you it’s a pointless game, and I think the players think that too.
Lawlor has been the only player to show any glimpse of quality from either side in that game, and he went off!
@tomrees1927 Agree. Thought Colwill was our most threatening player last night. Wintle was poor, Robertson and Kellyman were OK but have been better and Tanner looked exhausted.
@timcwegener@TobinLuca Fair enough mate, just an opinion anyway, I could be wrong! Bagan was definitely exhausted, that was clear to see. Just can’t get my head around why Scanlon has only played a handful of minutes since coming on loan from a club with such pedigree.
@MtBaz1927@roathboy As we’ve seen with plenty of teams though, one loss after a long winning streak can be a shock to the system and can lead to a few other losses to follow too. It’s obviously better being ahead, but whether we go up as champions or runners up, it makes no difference next season.
@timcwegener@TobinLuca I agree Osho should have done better for the 1st, but should also have had better cover too.
Thought both full backs were slow on and off the ball today, and very predictable (as was most of the team, mind you).
We need to get back on track and finish the season as we’ve been playing all season, but some serious upgrades are needed in the summer. That was not good enough and will undoubtedly be a reality check for next season #CCFC
