Any time a kid leaves my classroom telling their friend “w science today!” is a good day. Intimidating Bohr Models became a little more student friendly with the help of some candy and hands on learning!
Today I was given a plant from one of my kids. My homeroom and I used some unexpected homeroom bonding time to choose a name for him: Leafy Lucas Conner.
Today in 6th grade science, we used our knowledge of conductors and insulators to engineer working styluses. We budgeted and purchased supplies from our store, and tested them out to make sure they worked. A student of mine from last year even came back to help today!
My first class to earn their PBIS party got to celebrate today with snacks and a holiday movie! Thanks for being so wonderfully behaved, sixth period!!! #traskmiddle
