The way the College Football season shaped up, the CFP Committee had an opportunity to do the most right thing with the smallest backlash.

Alabama and BYU getting blown out in their conference championship games opened the door to put both Notre Dame and Miami in.

Instead they dropped the ball and punished BYU for losing, didn’t punish Alabama for losing and then flipped Notre Dame and Miami despite neither of them playing a game.

None of it makes sense.

They did the thing that would give them the most backlash just to have 5 SEC teams in the playoff.

That makes everyone question the integrity of the process and rightfully so.

@joeray @TeeplesCY I own a copy of the Quran but haven’t read all of it. I think the biggest difference was the Quran was recited over a period of 40 years vs just a few months. In addition, there were multiple witnesses to the translation of The Book of Mormon, one draft, and Joseph was just 23.

@LukeFHan IMO, if I was posting something factually true or false with the INTENT to tear down another religion (Catholics, LDS, whoever) then I would say it’s wrong. The intent of his post is what bugged me. It made it only worse that he told a half story with that negative intent.

@cabot_phillips It’s okay to disagree, but my goodness this post has made me second guess everything you and @realDailyWire have said. Giving half stories with no context, especially when attacking a religious group is pretty low.
