A3. I know teachers who make adjustments and changes daily because they know the kids. I see teachers who...
β€οΈgreet each child by name
β€οΈprovide flexible learning opportunities
β€οΈlisten deeply to the stories
β€οΈspend time with that one child who needs more time

Last week I was surprised everyday with gestures so incredible I managed to cry every day. Work friendships are powerful and make you want to work harder as a team. Let your colleagues know you appreciate them. It will make you both happy. #beLOVEland

I would argue it's the same for adults. The more times I see people behaving badly I try to view them as though they are a small child. Not as an insult but more to curiously begin to understand. If we can empathize, we can build connections and relationships.
This experience was everything I had hoped for. Building relationships not just with our students, but with our staff and others in our lives is the key to helping all of us emotionally.
Such a great day of growing & pushing our thinking about behavior today. If we want to change behavior, we need to start with our self. Conflict isnβt good or bad. Itβs an opportunity to teach, learn, reflect, & grow. @mscraig2000#becuriousnotjudgmental π§ β₯οΈ
