Today we visited the Assiniboine Food Forest Incorporated to understand and contribute to regenerating and conserving ecosystems and producing healthy, sustainable food. Our guides @sadler_ashley and Mr. Dave Barnes were exceptional. Finished with an ice cream at Crows.🌳🍦

@wisekidnetic dropped in yesterday for a fun STEM workshop. We were coding robots to drive, look, speak, make expressions, dance, light up, hit targets and race. Super cool!

Firefighter Rodeo couldn't have been more fun on this sunny afternoon. Dry and wet relays topped off with the historic water fight. Kids were drenched + loving it. Thanks Brandon Fire Emergency Services organizers and Mr. Brent Kyle! 👩‍🚒🚒🔥💦

A little bit of rain didn't stop us today! Today's Grade 4-8 Track and Field Day proved that Stingers are resilient. Fantastic job to all student athletes, staff, and @BettyGibsonPE!

I know it was April 4th but before spring break my kiddos were bummed that we'd be missing April Fools Day in class. So I pulled a little belated prank + had them race to complete a maze that had no possible ending + a prize for the winner. Most productive 20 mins ever 🤭😅

Snap circuits! A biiiig hit today. Loved watching their progress - they struggled to build the first project and then were creating their own circuits by the end of the day!

🆘️🚨 We can identify all parts of a circuit and use one to communicate with Morse Code!
